John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas Texas at 12:30 p.m central standard time on November 22nd, 1963. . A ten-month investigation from November 1963 to September 1964 by the Warren Commission concluded that Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, acting alone, and that Jack Ruby also acted alone when he killed Oswald before he could stand trial. Polls conducted between 1966 and 2003 found that as many as 80 percent of Americans have suspected that there was a plot or cover up to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In contrast to the polls, the United States government concluded in 1978 that President Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of conspiracy. Kennedy's assassination shocked our nation as a whole. After Kennedy was pronounced dead, the whole nation was in shock and was in a dead silence. Everyone was so devastated and shocked by this event that no body would barley talk or let alone pay attention to one another.
